Hardcover. Condition: Very good+. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. First edition. Very good+ in good dust jacket. Uncommon in jacket. Very readable reference on the first supercomputer, designed under Seymour Cray's supervision in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. In original gold dust jacket with black and white titles printed in the supercomputer's characteristic font; the 6600 was the commercial computer to use a CRT console. Contains a specification of the computer focusing on its unique aspects, written by its principal designer with introduction by Cray. Octavo, brown cloth covers, 181 pages. Includes appendix, index, black and white illustrations, diagrams, and schematics. Jacket about good; complete except for chips to rear panel and top of spine. Previous owner's name on endpaper.
