Photo with a few nicks and a tiny tear along the edges, card lightly toned, two abrasions on the verso where it had been pasted down, small tear where the one abrasion is, very good overall. A photograph and Signed card of actor, singer, and theatrical producer, DeWolf Hopper, best known for performing the popular baseball poem "Casey at the Bat". Hopper's name is inscribed on the verso of the photo, though it does not appear to be in his hand. The photo of Hopper was taken in 1901, when he was the "Shepherd" of the New York Social Club, "The Lambs.".

Backed by two pieces of foam, one older with a shadow around the broadside. Left and right edges frayed. This unusual piece was a souvenir programme for members of the Farragut Boat Club for the opera bouffe "Castles in the Air", performed in Chicago's Grand Opera House on Dec. 1st, 1890. The Farragut Boat Club Song score is beneath the text. DeWolf Hopper, the star of the show, was known for his performance of the baseball poem "Casey at the Bat."
