Hardcover. Condition: Good-. See photos for condition details. Hardcover, beveled blue cloth boards decorated in gilt on front and spine. Exterior shows dark spots in darkening along the edges and spine. Top of spine is chipped and frayed, edges and corners show bumps/wear. The internal binding has some issues: the rear board hinge is good but the front hinge is cracked. Most of the text pages are tight but a few sections of pages seem to be slightly offset and sticks out a tad along the top and right side exterior page edges. No signatures or bookplates, no library markings, and the only evidence of handwriting found is on the front end page we can just barely see that a price was once penciled in the corner. Both front and rear end pages and pastedowns have black spots, as does the first few pages, up to the table of contents and around pages 150-159. These are almost like a dry Inc. powder speckles. As a few other pages as well, though not many.
