    Stapled wraps. Condition: Good. First Edition; privately printed. Stapled wraps - Tanish or greenish heavy stock wrappers with maroon lettering on front cover. The covers are slightly worn and soiled with some annotations written in ink. The contents are tightand clean with some annotations written ink on the last page of text. . A nice copy with Theresa Deming's signature ; Frontispiece portrait, black and white plates of his artwork, two-page foreword by Henry Fairfield Osborn. This booklet contains a brief biography of the artist Edwin Willard Deming, a listing of his better-known paintings and letters of appreciation by artists, art historians and Theodore Roosevelt. The covers consist of heavy stock light green/tan (? ) paper folded to form a doubled wrapper. "R. E. W. Deming, His Work" is printed in bold maroon lettering on front cover. The title page is signed by his wife, Theresa O. Deming. Stamped in small red letters on verso of front cover is Copyright T. O. Deming 1925. This appears to be a specially printed copy. ; Black and white plates of artwork; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 47 p. pages; Signed by Therese Deming.

    Paperback. Privately printed. SIGNED. 47pp. Thin octavo [24.5 cm] Stapled tan and red printed wraps. Very good. The covers are mildly soiled and bumped. The frontispiece photograph is detached, but present. The pages are yellowed. Inscribed by Deming on the title page. Edwin Deming was an early illustrator and painter of the American West where he traveled with a few Indian tribes. He grew up with the Sac, Fox, and Winnebago in western Illinois and later lived among Indians for thirty-one years.
