This booklet contains a brief biography of the artist Edwin Willard Deming, a listing of his better-known paintings and letters of appreciation by artists, art historians and Theodore Roosevelt. The covers consist of heavy stock light green/tan (? ) paper folded to form a doubled wrapper. "R. E. W. Deming, His Work" is printed in bold maroon lettering on front cover. The title page is signed by his wife, Theresa O. Deming. Stamped in small red letters on verso of front cover is Copyright T. O. Deming 1925. The frontispiece photograph is detached, but present. The pages are yellowed. Inscribed by Deming on the title page. Edwin Deming was an early illustrator and painter of the American West where he traveled with a few Indian tribes. He grew up with the Sac, Fox, and Winnebago in western Illinois and later lived among Indians for thirty-one years.
