Mass Market Paperback. Condition: Good. First Paperback Edition. First UK paperback edition. White Circle Pocket Novel 189C. No date printed in book but this paperback edition dates from May 1950. Originally published in hard covers by Collins in 1941. There is a little chipping at the top and bottom of the spine which is rolled and has some edge rubbing and surface browning. There is a one inch band of browning at the top of the white circle on the front cover. Browning to the rear cover. Covers pulling away from the text block a little at the front of the book but the binding is secure. There is browning to the insides of the covers. Small tear to the inner top corner of the final page. The pages are browned but are otherwise unmarked. First printing. Postage charge will be reduced by £1.50 when the order is processed.

Contains three titles : Evil Under the Sun, Death Comes as the End and The Sittaford Mystery. Jacket has minor patchy edge/shelf wear, (severe) fading to red lettering to spine, a few small marks, the odd small crease/rub to edges, a little pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine, little pushing/bumping to corners (which has resulted in tiny tears/tiny loss in a couple of places), large red marks to reverse (white side) where colour from boards has run (these do not show through when on book), a few small scratches, little patchy browning and minor creasing/rubbing to front/back inner flaps. Boards are near fine (having been well protected by the jacket) with a hint of pushing to corners and very minor pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine. Minor spine lean. Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. Top edge of pages dyed red have the odd minor scratch. Pages slightly tanned. Very occasional small mark to pages. No other faults. A smart looking copy in clean, bright covers with a small nick to top of dj otherwise very good edges and tips. There is some fading to the red titles at the spine but overall, a handsome copy. The rear of the dj bears some red colorisation from the red spine but not visible to front of spine. Lovely dark pink endpapers. The boards are smart with red and gold bands. The contents are clean and unmarked. The pink stain to the top edge of the text block is nice and bright. Agatha Christie is one of the highest selling authors of fiction work of all time . Not exlib and packed and sent with care.
