Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. First Edition. Inscribed, "To George Low, with deep appreciation for your contributions to the space program and to this book" and signed by the author. George Low was Deputy Director at NASA, and later Deputy Administrator. The author served in several capacities, most prominently as Director of NASA's Langley Research Center. Book is in About Very Good condition. Front corners lsightly nudged and there's two small spots near bottom of front cover. No dust jacket, as issued. 214 pages. Signed by Author(s).

Large format hardcover, was issued without a dustjacket, a common title but this one made collectible due to astronaut Buzz Aldrin's signature between two color photos of him walking in space during the Gemini 12 mission on page 183, some rather faint damp-marks near the bottom of the front cover and a small area of paper residue on the back cover, mild tanning to the spine and a mild cock to the spine, the binding is tight and the contents are fine; Signed by Author.
