Typed signed letter written from Achabhealaidh, Machrie, Isle of Arran KA27 8DZ and dated 8.8.2001 from the compiler Peggy Lunan to a friend named Elizabeth, consisting of about 300 words in which which she says she is going to bring a special copy of the Needlework Exhibition Record when she comes to visit. The rest of the letter covers her new interest in box-making and family news. A very good copy. Signedes.

All three volumes are warmly inscribed by the author to the novelist William Humphrey and are thus quite uncommon. Not Me, Sir is from Cape, London in 1942 and is the second printing. Bound in soiled yellow cloth and with some spine lean. The Needle's Eye is also from Cape, London in 1948 and is the first printing. It's also bound in yellow cloth and has some spine lean but is at least clean and has the dust jacket which is mostly complete. Swanson is the American edition from 1951. It is bound in grey cloth and comes with the jacket. Inscribed by Author(s).
