Cowi R.E. recorded as "acting as Master of the Aldershot Command Foot Beagles", who certainly extra-illustrated this volume. Contains; three Autograph Letters Signed by Lionel Edwards ("Aniseed", "Lionel Edwards" and "Lionel E"); two Autograph Letters Signed "George J. Thursby" whose signed photograph in hunting gear (14 x 20cm) has been added opp.p.3 (he was well--known in hunting and racing circles). Extra-illustrated partly with original photographs but these are out-numbered by hunting images extracted from periodicals. The photographs include one of a "Captain Lovell" on horseback, 21 x 27cm - associated with hunting in the New Forest. All the letters involve mention of the Sport(s).
