A very good copy in red cloth lettered in gilt on the spine and with the top edge stained red. The dustwrapper, which is not price-clipped, shows a fair amount of wear to the edges, some soiling to the rear panel and some internally repaired tears including a large tear to the front panel. There is a neat ownership inscription at the foot of the front free end-paper but otherwise the book is clean internally. . 423 pages. Map at page 26 and large folding map at the rear. The inner text is clean with no soiling or finger marks inset. Free of any previous owner names or inscriptions. The map to the rear of the book is present and in fine condition. The dust wrapper is in very good condition with toning to the spine and to the rear panel. There is rubbing to the extremities with dust soiling to the corners of the rear flap folds. They come in a green slip case. all 3 are clean, crisp, and tight, corners are square and sharp. a very nice set. Scarce in this condition.
