Softcover. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: No Dust Jacket. Second Edition. Unpaginated. An original script, 2nd edition dated October, 1973, for the play "Of The Fields, Lately" by David French. It has French's signature on the title page. At the top of the page is the signature of S.F. Gallagher. Throughout the script are red marker highlights to Jacob's parts, including stage directions with occasional hand written notes ("move L & V"). The character of Jacob was played by Sean Sullivan in September 1973, so it is possible this was his copy. There is a letter inserted into the pages, dated 1984, to an actor named John (no last name) who played the part of Wiff in the play at some point but I believe this letter went back to the original sender and was inserted into the script then, so this is not "John's" script. At any rate, the script is in its original paper covers which are worn and curling at the edges, black plastic spine. Interior pages are thumbed and there are the signatures of French and of Gallagher, as well as the markings to the parts, as noted. Very scarce original cast script, signed by the important Canadian author and playwright, David French. ; 4to 11" - 13" tall; Signed by Author.
