Made into a movie starring Drew Barrymore and George C. Scott. Note on Edition: "Firestarter" was originally published in 1980 by Viking, King's second hardcover publisher after he left Doubleday in 1978. The book was also published in a simultaneous limited edition by Phantasia Press with dust jacket artwork by Michael Whelan, King's first limited edition book. Only 725 copies were produced and it typically fetches $4000 to $5000. Fast forward nearly 45 years later, PS Publishing has finally produced Firetarter in a lavish illustrated hardcover edition, a nice alternative to the Phantasia Press edition.
