Contact seller2-star sellerHardcover. Condition: New. Dust Jacket Condition: New. Limited Edition. Firestarter by Stephen King Illustrated by Dave McKean Hardcover in Slipcase Forest Hill, MD: Cemetery Dance, 2025. (the true first trade edition NY: Viking, 1980; the first signed-limited edition Phantasia Press, 1980) Fine in Fine Dust Jacket in slipcase.…As NEW. Made into a movie starring Drew Barrymore and George C. Scott. Note on Edition: "Firestarter" was originally published in 1980 by Viking, King's second hardcover publisher after he left Doubleday in 1978. The book was also published in a simultaneous limited edition by Phantasia Press with dust jacket artwork by Michael Whelan, King's first limited edition book. Only 725 copies were produced and it typically fetches $4000 to $5000. Fast forward nearly 45 years later, PS Publishing has finally produced Firetarter in a lavish illustrated hardcover edition, a nice alternative to the Phantasia Press edition. NOTE on USPS Shipping: $12.50 media mail, $25.95 USPS Ground Advantage, $29.95 large flat-rate box, $75 Canada, $110 UK and international. (Canada may be less). I ship on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays sometimes on Friday. I do not ship on Mondays and Saturdays. NOTE: Sometimes customs may delay an international shipment. I have no control over customs agents. IMPORTANT NOTE: All sales are generally FINAL. I do NOT accept returns because of buyer's remorse, "it was a gift but the recipient already had it", or "I found the same book at a better price". I am not selling new items to compete with other retailers. Returns are only accepted because of discrepancies regarding edition and/or condition of which I try to be very thorough in researching the edition/printing as well as describing ALL condition issues, both of which are accurate 99.99% of the time. In other words I rarely miss anything. So make sure you're 100% positive you desire one of my items before making a purchase. Dave McKean (illustrator). Signed by Illustrator(s).
