hardcover. Condition: Good. This is an ex-library book with the usual stamps and markings. The pages of this book are clean and unmarked. There is some light tanning/foxing to the outer edges of the pages due to age. Cover has some wear but is in very good shape.

This offering is a vintage copy of The First Book of Printing written by Sam and Beryl Epstein and illustrated with three-color illustrations drawn by Laszlo Roth. The book was published by Franklin Watts, Inc. in 1955, and is a stated First Printing. It IS an ex-library copy in good condition (with some light soiling to the back board) and does not have a dust jacket. The book is 7 1/4" by 8 5/8" and has 63 pages with an Index, a " Words Printers Use" section, and four-color illustrations throughout. This is more an adult book than a children's book (eighth grade reading level perhaps) . . . and would make a nice, helpful gift to yourself, or a friend as an introduction to printing.
