Hungarian language hardback Eastern Europe About warring groups of children from two schools, with German economic crisis in the background. Kastner, a pacifist, remained in Germany, although he was viewed with suspicion by the Nazis and his books were burned in 1933. This was his last book before the Nazis came to power.
