Condition: Good. 1961. 224 pages. Signed by the author. Green pictorial dust jacket over brown cloth with gilt lettering. Insert to front endpaper flat signed by author, editor, and artists. Pages are lightly tanned and thumbed at the edges, with light foxing. Binding has remained firm. Boards are a little rub worn, slight shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are a little bumped. Spine ends are mildly crushed. The unclipped dust jacket has heavy edge wear, with tears, chips and areas of loss. Tape repairing tears.

With an additional, unidentified contemporary signature below the authors' on the limitation page (see image). Laid in is a photograph of Fokker and two other pilots in an early airplane, with an annotation noting, "Tony Fokker at Controls," cropping annotations, and a numeric stamp on the verso. Very Good plus lacking the dust jacket, with a slight lean and light toning to the spine. Photograph, 7.25 x 5 inches. Near Fine. Signed.

Some light rubbing at extremities, very minor browning to endpapers, internally clean, dust jacket slightly toned, with rubbing and one or two marks at head and tail of spine, still an excellent copy.
