"Questions and answers on practical and theoretical coal mining, designed to assist students and others in passing examinations for mine foremanships." There is a chapter on miner's safety-lamps and instruments. The condition of this book is good, however someone spilled coffee on the top-edge; so there is some discoloration and distortion but these mining textbooks are so rare it deserves to be saved.
