Laid into this copy is an invitation for the 2001 exhibition Franta: "oeuvres choisies," signed by the artist in teal marker, with two other signed invitations send to Sondra Lee laid in. The first monograph of Franta's work, tracing "his development from the 1960s, when he first arrived in France, a refugee from Czechoslovakia, up to his recent exhibitions in New York and Paris."
