Die Pandekten sind eine ausgearbeitete Pandektenvorlesung, die E. Friedberg zunächst 1861 in einer übearbeiteten und Lewsi 1867 in der urprünglichen Fassung edierte. Das Werk ist in einem frischen und zupackenden Stil geschrieben und spiegelt noch unmittelbar die Vorstellungen seines grossen Lehrers Savigny wider.
