Her poetry appears in Promeny/Metamorphoses, published by the Czechoslovak Society of Arts and Sciences in New York, and in Czechoslovak publications abroad. Jiri [George] Karger was born in Czechoslovakia in 1924 and studied in Prague. In 1949 he left Czechoslovakia, lived in Norway and Sweden, and moved to America in 1960.Bilingual edition with the poems printed in Czech with English translations.

Von 1956 bis 1989 war er Vorstandsmitglied und 1. Vorsitzender des Schutzverbands Deutscher Schriftsteller in Rheinland-Pfalz, des Verbands deutscher Schriftsteller (VS) Rheinland-Pfalz und des Förderkreises deutscher Schriftsteller (FöK) Rheinland-Pfalz sowie über lange Jahre hinweg Redakteur der Zeitschrift Glaube und Heimat. Neben eigenen Büchern war er auch Herausgeber und Mitautor verschiedener Werke, veröffentlichte Texte und Gedichte in Anthologien und schrieb für den Südwestfunk Hörspiele und Fernsehfilme (Auszug aus Wikipedia). 1.
