From an unknown edition, but number 851. 2 volumes in marbled boards with a titled label pasted to the front board in both instances. Both show some minor sunning to the spines, but are internally clean with 23 plates in Scheerenschnitte of Schopenhauer's delightful paper cut silhouettes. In original slipcase which shows some wear, sunning around the mouth and a partial split along one of the edges, but it is structurally sound, with some rubbing across sides. Very Good. A delightful two volume work, with one volume being poems by Schopenhauer, and the second volume, plates to accompany it, printed on varying colours of paper.
