Interior has no marks other than the author's signature and our penciled price. Collier tried at first to establish himself as a poet, became an accomplished short story writer, primarily for the New Yorker, and did some writing for Hollywood. SIGNED, LIMITED EDITION #17 OF 185.

A well preserved very good plus or near fine copy.

Of an edition of 185 signed copies, this one is unnumbered, presumably one of the author's copies for presentation. It bears E.M. Forster's book label, and a presentation to Forster in which Collier has copied out a whole paragraph from "A Passage to India". A nice association copy.
