Gilt roundel to front for Girls Public Day School Company, Maida Vale High School. Marbled endpapers, all edges marbled. Condition: Very good. Leather split to hinges but stitching firm. Small loss to head of spine. School prize plate inside front board dated 1892. Crease to title page and preface. Grubby mark to top corner of these pages. Other pages clean and bright. Some fading to fore edge marbling. Size: 7x5in/18x13cm. 1138pp. Weight: 720g.

Gilt and blind tooled Decoration on front & back. Gilt Decorative border on inner cover. Black Endpapers. All page edges Gilt. 1075 Pages, 740g, 7" Tall. Text arranged in Double Columns. Spine a little faded. Some edge wear. Hinges sound & Binding firm. No inscriptions except old penciled price. Size: 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" Tall.

Some foxing to the blank endpapers and to a lesser extent on the first and last couple of pages of text, otherwise clean throughout. Fine attractive early twentieth century binding of full dark green morocco, by Zaehnsdorf of London. Spine with five raised bands, each with gilt piping. Compartments decorated, ruled and lettered in gilt. Triple gilt ruled border on boards. Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales arms stamped in gilt to the front board and their prize label (dated 1907), signed by the President, Vice President and Secretary of the Institute, on the front paste down endpaper. Gilt inner dentelles. Dark green endpapers. All edges gilt. Spine faded to a mellow brown but overall a fine attractive binding.
