After the holidays, villagers begin to receive anonymous poison pen letters and soon a real corpse is found on the gate - and as the spring thaw sets in, another body is found. 263 pp. Fair condition only in black cloth with silver lettering. Dampness to the upper corner of the boards has caused significant bleeding the endpapers and first few pages in the beginning and end, and part of the textblock edge. Still, this is a readable copy of a rather scarce title and one of her most appealing books.…
