Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. 2nd Edition. There are no other books that surpass this classic work on the Snakes of Uganda by C.R. S. Pitman who served as the Game Warden for Uganda for several years. In 1974, Wheldon & Wesley , publishers and natural history book sellers now defunct)undertook and Revised the text and photographs and other illustrations including 29 color plates, monograms, maps and folding charts with the result , this compact size beautiful volume was created. Appears to be hardly used. A nice tight volume , no dj was issued.
