In 1980, David Jonathan Grossman (1922-1990) was awarded the Prix Halperine-Kaminsky for his Cummings translations. Him was first published in 1927. Octavo. Original black cloth, spine lettered in gilt, fore edge untrimmed. Grossman's shelf label to front cover. Spine ends bumped, spine lettering rubbed, faint soiling and marks to covers, long repaired tear to pp. 83-4. A very good copy.
