Solid overall, with no markings otherwise. 2" horizontal chip at bottom edge of front board; two indentations to rear board. Boards encased in plastic sleeve.

No other inscriptions. Corners worn. Closed edge tear on last illustration which end in a small hole 1/2" long in side of picture. Otherwise a very nice, clean copy.

Book is bumped and scuffed and grubby from handling by tiny hands over many years, some foxing and blotchy marks to some pages also and one plate torn. Undated but surely a 1920s or 1930s book for very young children in which the toys of Josephine's nursery get to put on a show. Author and illustrator not stated but certainly Mrs. H.C. Aside from some minor bumping to the corners of the boards and a few small chips to edges of the dustwrapper (the worst chip, at the bottom of the spine, just shaves off the top of the J in the title) this is a lovely copy of this scarce title.
