Hardcover. Condition: Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: As New. First Edition. The author's first novel for adults, preceding by a year her most well-known novel "Camomile" and the first novel in the Mary Wesley Omnibus of her first three adult novels including "Harnessing Peacocks". Book's only flaw is the almost unnoticeable residue of the erasure of a previous owner's name at the top corner of the front free endpaper; otherwise it is fine+. The mylar-protected, unclipped(£7.95 net), unfaded and unrubbed dustwrapper is without any wear whatsoever. A superb copy of a the author's very scarce first adult novel.

A first edition, first printing published by Macmillan in 1983. A very good book which, due to a printing error, opens on the half title page, has some browning to the page edges. In a very good (or better) unclipped wrapper which is a little faded on the spine. There is some spotting to the endflaps and a minute amount of chipping to the foot of the front flap. Author's first novel.
