On May 4, 1970, at Ohio's Kent State University, 13 seconds passed. 67 shots were fined. 4 students were dead and 9 wounded. This book explores that terrible day in American history. Signed. First US edition. Fine / Fine copy; jacket protected in loose mylar sleeve. This particular copy bought with a collection of 14 other signed Caputos, 3 of which were inscribed to the collector. This signature is odd though collector states he was there for the signing. All of the signature are a little different, but a warning on this one. Provenance is solid, but penmanship looks to be a little, um, shaky? Includes DVD 2001 Emmy Award-winning documentary 'Kent State: the Day the War Came Home.
