Condition: Fair. 1858. Thirteenth Edition. 248 pages. No dust jacket. Blue cloth covered boards with gilt. Pages are moderately tanned and occasionally foxed throughout. Previous owner's inscription to front free end-paper. Heavy cracking at the hinges with exposed binding material. Some occasional mild cracking to gutters throughout, binding remains reasonably firm. Boards have mild edge-wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. Mild crushing to spine ends. Gilt lettering has become dull. Moderate tanning to spine. Cloth has minor damp and dust stains. Book has a slight forward lean.

Cloth. Condition: Fair. Tenth edition. Small square 12mo, an engraved frontispiece and 16 plates, pp x, 222, slightly used and slightly weak internally, a contemporary inscription on the front endpaper, original cloth with simple gilt titling on spine and upper cover, very slightly worn.
