All fore-edge corners are scuffed, lower corners are justbarely rubbed through. Bright illustrated end-papers of a map of Lake Pontchartrain, the Island of Orleans and French Louisiana on the GulfCoast centering about New Orleans and Lake Pontchartrain.Fore-edges of text are untrimmed and with the start of foxing. Internal text pages are clean and text block is snug. Dust jacket panels are soiled, appears to be front ink smears, more so on the back panel. Jacket spine is rubbed toward the upper edge. Edges at head and tail of jacket spine are chipped and rubbed and with small closed verticaltears. Several closed vertical tears along the edges of front and back jacket panels, all 1/4" or less. Fore-edge corner tips are creased and rubbed but withminimal loss. Not price clipped. Please use close-up options for best inspection and in support of condition description. Lower edge at tail of jacket spine is chipped across width and up to 3/16". Lower left corner on back jacket panel has two closed tears of 1 1/4" and 1" with connecting diagonal creases and an old tape repair for stabilization. Upper edge on back jacket panel has several small closed tears of 1/4" or less, and shallow horizontal creases. Lower edge of front jacket panel has several small chips and shallow diagonal creases. Fore-edge corners are rubbed and with loss or closed vertical tears. Front flap has a small price clip of approx. 1 3/4" by 1".
