Interior and binding are still very good. Barney Lamond's manuscript was discovered in the Battye Library in 1983. Hesperian Press, with the family's permission, published Lamond's account of his adventures in the Kimberley Region. In Queensland in 1885, Lamond and his mate Jack Horrigan heard of gold in the Kimberley. The pair rode thousands of miles through the outback, surviving hardships to become some of the first men on the Kimberley goldfields.
