Add to basketHardcover. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Fair. 1st Edition. A UK 1st edition, 1st Printing hardback copy indicated on the copyright page with no further printings mentioned. - THE AUTHOR'S RARE COLLECTION OF SHORT STORIES ABOUT COUNTRY LIFE AND THE OPEN AIR. THIS COPY IS COMPLETE IN YELLOW BOARDS (THE PUBLISHER ALSO RELEASED THIS EDITION IN GREEN BOARDS). - The book is in good condition for its age. The spine has a push to the top and bottom, and slight fading to the top and bottom. The yellow boards are in good condition and show small signs of ware, with a small black smudge mark to the bottom of the front board. There is a small bump to the top outside corner of the reverse board. The page block is sunned, with some foxing to the top. Internally, the pages are complete and have no inscriptions or tears. Overall, a good copy. - The dust jacket is in fair condition, but has not been price clipped with a price of 9s 6d net shown. The jacket is significantly torn. In particular, there is a large area of loss to the bottom of the front of the jacket (measuring approx 7.5 cm x 3.cm). There is also loss to the top and bottom of the spine cover (both measuring approx 2.5cm x 0.5cm). In addition, there are open tears where the front and reverse meet the flaps at the top and bottom. There are smaller tears to the top and bottom of the reverse. - So, overall a rare copy but with its flaws.
