The edition consists of 530 copies as follows: 110 copies numbered I-CX and signed by the author and 420 copies numbered 1-420. CI-CX and 401 - 420 are for presentation'. This copy is number 123, unsigned. There is a neat inscription on the front end paper, dated Christmas 1970. Overall the book is in a near fine condition.

Dustjacket creased, a little chipped and nicked to edges. Despite the New York imprint, this was printed by The Rampant Lions Press in Cambridge and bound at the Wigmore Bindery. It was the fifth publication in the series of Clover Hill Editions, a collaboration between Will Carter of Rampant Lions and Reed?s old BBC colleague Douglas Cleverdon. In addition to the 420 numbered copies a further 110 lettered and signed copies were also produced.
