Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. 247p: 249-468p. Flexible leather. Priced copy. A total 1482 lots listed and described. Jerome Kern (1885-1945) was an American composer. Cannon in American Book Collectors p215 writes regarding the Kern sale "In retrospect the book trade was inclined to the belief that the prices established at the Kern sale did more harm than good. As has happened more than once at similar auctions a great many of the books were sold on credit and the full amounts bid were never collection, thus unfortunately establishing and inflated valuation for many" A fresh clean set with minor rubbing to the extremities.
