It has not been price clipped. The boards are tight and free from notable chips and marks and the text blocks are immaculate. Illustrated with diagrams and a black & white reproduction of a portrait of the author. Appendix. Bookplate on front pastedown. Bound in brown cloth with gilt lettering stamped on spine. Rubbed edges; minor foxing to front cover; front hinge starting. Signed by the author on front free endpaper, dated 1902. Other than print-on-demand, no copies available online as of this listing. The only auction record that appears is from 2018 (Keys Fine Arts Auctioneers), where the price realized was GBP 324 (US$425). Scarce.
