Autographed by both the author and jacket artist to endpaper. Text block gently toned, jacket with minor wear, some sunning. Very good indeed. The Australian actress/author was married to Sean Connery until 1973, and is the mother of actor Jason Connery. The Oscar-nominated star was a keen swimmer and had an uncredited role alongside her husband, doubling as an Ama diving girl in 'You Only Live Twice'. Published the same year, this is her first novel, about movie stars and film executives in Acapulco. Signed.

Diane Cilento is best remembered for her roles in The Wicker Man and most notably in Tom Jones with Albert Finney in which she played a lustful wench with the very memorable erotic eating scene, and for which she was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. She was also once married to fellow actor Sean Connery and with whom she had a son. Some of her other memorable films include, The Admirable Crichton and Hombre.

A first edition, first printing published by Hodder and Stoughton in 1967. A near fine book without inscriptions - SIGNED without dedication by both Cilento and Connery to the front endpaper. In a very good unclipped wrapper with a little nicking and wear to the edges. Diane Cilento, an Australian actress, had a successful career in both film and theater. She appeared in movies like "Tom Jones" and "The Agony and the Ecstasy." Sean Connery and Diane Cilento were married from 1962 to 1973. During their marriage, they had one son named Jason Connery, who also pursued a career in acting. Although their marriage ended in divorce, both Sean Connery and Diane Cilento continued their respective careers and made significant contributions to the film industry. Double signed copies are rare.
