Condition: Sehr gut. (Gerhard Mercator, geboren am 5. März 1512 in Rupelmonde, Grafschaft Flandern, gestorben am 2. Dezember 1594 in Duisburg. Geograph und Kartograf. Jodocus Hondius, eigentlich Josse de Hondt, geboren am 14. Oktober 1563 in Wakken, Flandern, gestorben am 12. Februar 1612 in Amsterdam. Flämischer Kartograph und Verleger). Kolorierter Original-Kupferstich aus dem "Atlas Minor" um 1630, herausgegeben von Jodocus Hondius in Amsterdam. Die Karte von Marocco mit Titelkartusche und Kartusche mit Meilenzeiger. Durch eine Galerie fachmännisch gerahmt hinter Glas/Passepartout im roten Holzrahmen. Maße Abbildung: 15,0 x 18,5 cm. Maße Rahmen: 33,0 x 36,5 cm. Nicht ausgerahmt. Karte im Randbereich leicht stockfleckig. Insgesamt sehr guter Zustand. Original hand-colored copperplate engraving from the "Atlas Minor" (c. 1630), published by Jodocus Hondius in Amsterdam. The map of Morocco features a title cartouche and a scale bar cartouche. Professionally framed by a gallery behind glass and a mat in a red wooden frame. Image dimensions: 15.0 x 18.5 cm. Frame dimensions: 33.0 x 36.5 cm. Not examined out of the frame. Map slightly foxed at the edges. Overall very good condition.
