An editor at Atlantic Monthly Press read a copy of that printing, and the press bought out the remaining copies form El Leon Literary Arts, purchased the publication rights, and published it under their imprint. This is, as such, the proof for the "First Edition Thus," though it is not indicated as such on the copyright page and this is the version that was, for all intent and purposes, available to the public.] A fine, signed softcover uncorrected proof copy in pictorial wraps (nearly identical to dust jacket design on hardcover). Spine is straight. Corners are just minutely bumped. Looks unread. Presents nicely in Brodart Plasti-Kleer DuraSaver book protector. Author signature, inscription to previous owner, and date in year of publication on full-title page in blue ink. Though not indicated as such, signature was obtained in person at an event hosted by Rainy Day Books in Kansas City. Shipped in well-padded box.
