Tall 8vo. xvi, 318pp. Quarter leather with patterned paper-covered sides, lettered and ruled in gold at the spine. With a title page decoration, sixteen full-page engraved plates, and various illustrations and decorations in the text. The backstrip leather a little chafed in places, and with a small area of fading to the publisher's maroon top edge stain. Very good indeed, in fine state internally. No dust wrapper called for, but housed in the original still card slipcase with a lettered paper spine label, which exhibits a small area of surface abrasion. Signed by Illustrator(s).
