WorldCat identifies the author as Helena B. Dowson, who appears to have been a suffragette. Note on front endpaper "DWH is Aunt Nellie, Uncle Will's wife. Ann." Loosely inserted is a good signed handwritten letter from the poet to a relation called Robin who had written a book himself. The letter is dated February 1952 from Ulverston. 6 pages, about 350 words. discussing his book, enclosing her own and mentioning Plato, Shakespeare, Bertran Russell and Sir Desmond MacCarthy to whom wshe had sent some of her poems- he had said ÒOne cannot make a name if one is nameless!Ó Signed "Every Yours, Nellie". Also enclosed is part of another letter mentioning Spengler, religion and pet cats. Very good indeed in slightly used and tanned, close very good dust jacket. Signedes.
