An excellent near fine copy, the binding square and firm, the contents toned due to the poor quality paper stock are otherwise clean throughout. Complete with the lightly rubbed, nicked and creased dustwrapper, correctly priced 8s 6d net to the front flap. One of the author's scarcest titles under the Victor Gunn pseudonym, rare in presentation state. Inscribed by the author in blue ink on the front endpaper "To dear Nellie / With loads of love / Edwy [underlined] / Victor Gunn". (Hubin).
