This was published before Grieg went to the Soviet Union and became an ardent Stalinist. He fled Norway to England when the Nazis invaded and served as a correspondent and writer. He died over Berlin when he accompanied a British bombing raid. The spine title is chipped and there are a couple of foxed spots on the rear cover; otherwise a very good copy.

The cloth shows only a hint of edgewear. The dust wrapper has light edgewear with three short closed tears (1/4" or less); no chips; not price-clipped.
