Hardback bound in blue cloth with printed titling to spine and upper board. 19.5 × 12.5cm, 395pp. Signed by S P B Mais with a lengthy dedication to the ffep, "To Kenneth Foster, Prince of letter-writers, Regal in generosity, As refreshingly Eighteenth century in his small talk as he is refreshingly plucky and skilful on his small SKI, from a Grub Street Hack who has barely time in this life to sign his name but can appreciated a sportsman when he meets one. 6 March 1924, SPB Mais". S P B Mais's third novel, appears to be a romance of a young couple as they steer a course through their life together (or sometimes not together.). Don't hold me to this precis, I might have got the wrong end of the stick from a quick look through. Condition: Whilst the book is in fairly good shape, the pages are heavily foxed throughout although remaining in good readable condition. Signed by Author(s).
