Foreword by Bruce Bernard. 144pp, composed primarily of full and double page reproductions of Lavery's photographs of circus life. From page 130 there follow 10pp…icon images of the individual pictures, each with accompanying text, a final photo including an image of the photographer himself, and finally two pages of Photographer's Notes. The book is to all appearances Fine, with some very minor indeed evidence of having been handled. Tight and bright, with no additional markings, inscriptions or annotations. The dustwrapper has some minor surface scratches to the laminate and one small, closed triangular tear at middle front edge - repaired from verso with tape. Otherwise undamaged and not price- clipped. Now protected and enhanced by a removable, transparent sleeve. PLEASE SEE FIVE ACCOMPANYING IMAGES. Overall, a very nice First Edition copy. FREE p&p within the U.K. Shipping abroad at postage cost agreed with the purchaser. (20% of profits from all FARRAGO sales donated to the Motor Neurone Disease Association).
