A warmly inscribed copy from Eric Partridge to Dr Eric J Holmyard , chemist and authority on the history of science and lecturer at Clifton College. The inscription consists of two paragraphs, hand written and dated 1953. Also loosely inserted is Eric Partridge's 4 page Christmas greeting card for 1955 which is a 4 page essay on the word 'Elephantine'. An interesting copy. Signed by Author(s).…
