This is a volume complied by long time collectors of postcards which were Exhibited in the museum of Childhood Bethnal Green 1979-80 Llavishly illustrated throughout almost exclusively in colour. In near fine condition. No inscriptions or blemishes.

Large format hardcover (28 x 29cm), pp. 288, richly illustrated with colour plates; dark green cloth covered boards with lettering in gilt on the spine; illustrated endpapers; dark green and photographic dust wrapper. Bottom of front hinge and bottom corners very gently bruised; top edge of text block is very faintly foxed; contact with water has left a faint brown stain on the top edge of the text block, pages 45-58 cockled, light brown staining to the top half of pages 50-52; unclipped dust wrapper is clean and bright with very gentle creases to the head and tail of the spine.
