I am unable to verify the inscription but it seems likely to be that of the author who was born in New York and at the time of publication of the book was Associate Professor of Fine Arts at Harvard and subsequently the Herbert Boone Professor of Humanities at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore] 60pp. blue cloth+ gilt lettering to spine. A bit of wear to corners/spine ends, sunning to top edge, covers moderately warped, in moderately edgeworn dust jacket w/short edge tears, moderately sunned spine, small scrape to spine, a bit of chipping to corners/spine ends, light soil, general wear.
