Publisher's black cloth with silver, orange and blue motifs to spines and upper boards; silver titles to spines, black endpapers. Housed in a black slipcase. A neat, bright set; near fine books in a very good slipcase. A few barely visible marks to page block edge of main volume, and a light bump to one corner of accompanying volume. Slipcase is lightly bumped to rear corner with light water marks to lower faces. First published in Latin in 1687, this translation is based on the third edition of 1726, and was first published by University of California in 1999. Translated by I. Bernard Cohen and Anne Whitman, assisted by Julia Buzenz. Heavyweight set so a contribution towards increased postage costs will be requested for overseas delivery.
