It is described as a WOTHLYTYPE. In this rare variant technique, arrow-root was used to size the paper. GERNSHEIM # 267 records the four volumes published in this annual series, 1863 to 1866. It is not common, COPAC only records the BL, NLS and Oxford as having the four volumes and Glasgow having three.
