Original vintage World War Two industrial safety poster - Replace Covers Prevent Falls - featuring a graphic design by the notable British artist Tom Eckersley (1914-1997) issued for the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents RoSPA depicting a dramatic view through an opening to the silhouette of a fallen worker lying next to his hammer to show the impact of an accident caused by an open wooden cover at the top, the image set on a dark background to further highlight the dangers of poorly lit and unmarked workplace hazards, the bold text above and below. Issued by the Ministry of Labour and National Service and produced by the RoSPA. Printed by Loxley Bros Ltd. Fair condition, fold, creasing, tears, pinholes, staining, foxing. Size: 76x51cm.
