Little spine lean. Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. Pages bit tanned. Odd small mark/minor foxing to page edges, tops and bottoms. Von Ryan's Express, David Westheimer, Michael Joseph, 1964, First Edition, First Impression Adapted as a film in 1965 starring Frank Sinatra and Trevor Howard, this story is set in World War II and revolves around a prison camp of officers who make a daring escape attempt. In near fine condition, the binding is straight and tight, the boards clean and the lettering on the spine bright. The slightly toned end papers and pages are free from tears and inscriptions. There is a faint foxing to the rear end papers and all the edges. There is a small booksellers sticker to the rear of the front board. The clipped dust jacket, protected in a clear, removable cover is in good condition with loss to the corners, nibbling to the top edge of the first cover, loss to the top and bottom edges of the spine and a darkened back cover. Will be dispatched carefully wrapped in bubblewrap and a cardboard box.
